🌟 Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Cassandra Jelsma — “Miss Cassie” 🌟

Walking our Way to a GREAT Year!
Instead of waiting for the students to come to us, the teachers at the Colony school walked to the students homes and picked them up-one house at a time. With smiles, laughter, happy faces, and lots of steps along the way, we made our way to school together today!

The SD FFA Alumni Association is looking for FFA Jackets as part of a museum display to represent all of the chapters in SD. They are currently looking for a Tyndall-Tabor Jacket (they have a Tyndall jacket). This jacket would be on display in the Kimball Tractor Museum for three years and also displayed at the 2028 and 2029 State FFA Convention. Reminder: Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 12th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM families of 6-12 students can come to prepay on the lunch accounts, checkout laptops and fill out all required paperwork before school begins in the MS/HS office.

6th Grade Orientation is at 5:30 in the main gym.
9th Grade Orientation is at 6:30 in the main gym.

On Wednesday, August 12th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM families of 6-12 students can come take care of new school year priorities. This will be an opportunity to prepay on the lunch accounts, checkout laptops and fill out all required paperwork before school begins. Tables will be set up on 2nd floor in the main building with all information.
