“I chose the University of Alabama Psychiatry Residency because I wanted broad, rigorous clinical training within a close-knit, supportive community. During the interview process, I was impressed by the faculty’s approachability and genuine investment in residents’ education and well-being. I was also drawn to the program’s diverse clinical experiences, which offer opportunities to work with patients across diagnoses, settings, and stages of life.
