Turkey, Texas will be the location for the 11th Annual BAM Summer Music Camp, set for June 11-15, 2023. Camp check in will be held at the Hotel Turkey. The Camp will host a recital on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 2:30 pm which will be open to the public. This music camp is an extension of the Bulverde Academy of Music, also known as BAM! Bobby Flores was not only founder and CEO, but also active in
structor, along with his dedicated staff of teachers. In keeping with Bobby Flores' dream and vision, this camp will continue in his memory. BAM continues to educate the serious music student and has a proven track record of remarkable student achievement and success, from music college scholarship to Nashville recording artists. Grammy award winner, Bobby Flores was a multi instrumentalist, vocalist, arranger, producer, composer, first call session musician, and band leader. He is regularly featured on RFD-TV's "Tru-Country" and "Mid-West Country Music Show". It is the goal of this camp to educate and enrich the personal growth for the advanced music student from the novice to the performing band member, while preserving the Western Swing Music Style. Instruction will include fiddle, guitar, and pedal steel. All instruction will be given by professional musicians, highly qualified and recognized in their field. This camp is designed for players who are looking to increase their instrument skills and the rare opportunity to student with these master musicians. The camp is now accepting students from 10 years old to adult. Tuition includes full meal plan, all instruction, camp notebook/lesson materials, and recital fees. Lodging is available onsite for an additional fee. This camp is designed to create a positive musical experience for all our campers through bonding and sharing a common interest.
