The creation of Route 66 depended on blue collar workers. Welders, construction crews, mechanics, truck drivers, and skilled laborers built the roads, bridges, pipelines, and businesses that turned the โMother Roadโ into an American landmark. Their hard work didnโt just build a highway โ it helped build America. ๐ ๏ธ๐บ๐ธ

Route 66 earned the name โThe Mother Roadโ by carrying thousands of blue collar workers west to California during hard times, searching for new jobs, opportunity, and a better life. From welders and truck drivers to farmers and laborers, the road became a symbol of hope, hard work, and the American dream. ๐บ๐ธ๐ฃ๏ธ

As America entered the automobile era, Route 66 became more than a highway โ it became a symbol of movement, opportunity, and hard work. Behind it all were the blue collar workers who kept the country rolling. Welders built the infrastructure, truck drivers moved goods across state lines, and skilled tradesmen kept businesses, bridges, and industries alive along the Mother Road.
Route 66 was powered by the hands of hardworking Americans โ and that same blue collar spirit still drives the country forward today. ๐บ๐ธ๐ ๏ธ๐

Route 66 wasnโt built by corporations โ it was built by blue collar craftsmanship. From the welders who forged steel, to the workers who raised motels, diners, and iconic neon signs, every mile of the Mother Road carries the hands of skilled tradesmen.
Today, that same craftsmanship still shapes Route 66 and the communities around it. Welders, fabricators, electricians, and builders continue to keep its legacy alive โ proving that skilled labor never goes out of style. ๐ฅ๐ ๏ธ
