Ask an HR pro what they took away from a training six months ago. Usually you get a shrug and something about "good content."
We ask every CWMS cohort the same open-ended question — what were your key takeaways? Recent answers, unedited:
→ "Don't forget to stress test."
→ "How to refocus and reframe conversations."
→ "Self-determination was huge for me."
→ "Much more clear on the distinction between mediation, investigation, and discipline."
→ "The MOU template and the gravel and gold."
Read those again. None of them are compliments. They're artifacts — a step, a distinction, a document, a phrase somebody can use on Monday.
That's the tell I'd look for in any certification you're considering. Content you sit through produces a feeling. Skills you rehearse produce vocabulary, and vocabulary is what's still there in March.
It's not a complicated mechanism. You practice all seven stages live, under supervision, before you're finished — which is why every participant so far has rated the role-plays either "highly effective" or "transformative." That's not a testimonial. It's the design.
