We quietly released our 2026 schedule to our alumni a few weeks ago, and they promptly filled most of it. Which is great for them and mildly rude to the rest of y’all.

Y’all meet our newest team member and instructor, Austin Lopez.
Austin is a full time law enforcement officer with extensive tactical experience and current SWAT team member. A U.S. Army veteran, Austin brings discipline, leadership, and real world operational experience that cannot be taught from a textbook.

He is a CLEET certified fi****ms instructor with a strong background in training both law enforcement officers and private citizens in the safe, effective, and defensible use of fi****ms. His instruction is straightforward, pressure tested, and rooted in what actually works when things go bad.

Austin’s teaching style aligns closely with the Five-O Tactical philosophy. He focuses on fundamentals, accountability, and performance under stress, not trends or internet tactics. His operational background complements our training model and strengthens our ability to deliver competent, relevant instruction to armed citizens who take responsibility for their own defense seriously.

Austin is committed to providing the highest standard of fi****ms training and is a strong addition to the Five-O Tactical instructor cadre. We don’t post about it much, but we’re working with church security teams across Oklahoma every week. From range skills and tactics to leadership and operational support—we stay busy. This team, like most, needed a real-world skills assessment and training plan to level up. It was brutally hot, but they showed up last Saturday and put in the work. Well done, y’all!
