We are honored to welcome Karen Glass as the Keynote Speaker for the 2026 Charlotte Mason Enrichment Conference.
For more than 20 years, Karen has thoughtfully studied and taught Charlotte Mason's philosophy, helping parents understand not only what Charlotte Mason taught but why it matters.
Through her books, speaking, and teaching, Karen has encouraged thousands of home educators to cultivate a love of learning in their homes and to embrace the lifelong education of the mother.
This year, Karen's message beautifully complements our conference theme:
✨ For the Love of Learning: Nourishing the Mother, Strengthening the Home ✨

One of the sessions I’m most excited about at this year’s Charlotte Mason Enrichment Conference is “Mother Education” with Beth Howard.
In Charlotte Mason’s philosophy, education is not only for our children. As mothers, we also need to be nourished with truth, beauty, goodness, and living ideas.
This conversation was such a needed reminder that a mother’s education is not extra. It shapes the atmosphere of the home and strengthens the work we’ve been called to do.
Here’s a little preview from our latest Conference Chats episode. 💛
Whether you join us in person or virtually, I truly believe these sessions will deeply encourage and refresh you.

When we first started home educating, I would take the entire summer off and hardly open a book.
Cringe, I know. 🙈
Needless to say, when we started back in the fall… the re-entry was not pretty.
As I’ve grown in my understanding of Charlotte Mason’s philosophy, her motto, “Education is an atmosphere, a discipline, and a life,” has really come alive to me.
Summer doesn’t mean we turn off our brains and stop learning.
Our minds were made to grow and feed on living ideas. Just as we wouldn’t neglect feeding our bodies, the same is true of our minds.
That doesn’t mean summer has to feel like school either.
For us, summer learning often looks like:
• Family read-alouds
• Nature walks
• Audiobooks
• Quiet afternoons with good books
• Handicrafts
• Continuing a few core habits
Learning shouldn’t stop in the summer.
Sometimes it simply changes its pace.
How are you cultivating an atmosphere of learning in your home this summer?

As you plan your next school year, don’t forget about yourself.
We spend so much time choosing what our children will learn. But what about our own growth?
When you are learning, it changes everything. Your perspective, your patience, your ability to lead your home with intention.
This is why I care so deeply about creating spaces for mothers to be poured into.
If you are planning your year, consider making space for your own renewal too.
Join us this summer.
