OU Giving Day

Congrats to graduating class of ‘20 and ‘21!

Last year’s graduating class is invited to participate in this year’s OU-Tulsa convocation on May 11th at the Mabee Center at ORU! Please contact Dr. Morgan or Student Affairs on the Tulsa campus if you’d like to participate!

Congratulations to all of you MPA students who graduate tonight! While we will be celebrating in person as soon as we can, I want a chance to see you in your all your graduation glory. If you are up for it, please respond in the comments with a picture of yourself in your graduation regalia.

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum was created to honor “those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever” by the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. This year marks the 25th anniversary of this tragedy. 25th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony Join us as 168 seconds of silence will be observed and the names of 168 persons killed in the bombing will be read.

Happy First Day of Spring! The sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the grass is green (mostly) and it is a good time for self-reflection and personal growth.

As you may be aware, OU-Tulsa has moved to online instruction through April 3, 2020. The date may be extended depending on how events unfold regarding the spread of COVID-19 during this time. Each instructor will be communicating with their students about how this change will look. Please check with your course instructor if you have any questions or concerns about this transition.

We (Drs. Morgan, Valentine, and Blatt) are all readily available via email and, if needed, have Zoom connection capabilities. Megan Gray, MPA Tulsa's Administrative Assistant will be working remotely and can be contacted via email or through Zoom as well. Our goal is to continue providing the best possible educational experience we can while working to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We appreciate your flexibility and patience in this process.

As a reminder, be good to yourself. This is a disorienting time so please monitor your own physical and mental health. If we can be of help in any way, please reach out.
