Our 2nd & 3rd graders brought the energy, teamwork, and creativity as they organized their very own Field Day adventure at Mizel!

From planning games to cheering on friends, our students showed leadership, collaboration, and so much school spirit. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and enthusiasm!

This was just the beginning... and we can’t wait to make Field Day even bigger and include our whole school next year!

Mizel JCDS had a wonderful visit with our Israeli guests, Aaron and Ayala, as we proudly celebrated Israel’s 78th Independence Day.

Their presence made our Yom Ha’atzmaut celebration even more meaningful as students learned, connected, and rejoiced in the spirit of Israel’s strength, history, and hope.

We celebrated the people, culture, resilience, and bright future of Israel. Happy (belated) Yom Ha’atzmaut from all of us at Mizel JCDS! 💙🤍

Our First Graders and their families celebrated Chagigat HaSiddur (Celebration of the Prayerbook). The students sang and recited the tefilot (prayers) that they learned over the past year. At this milestone celebration, each student was also honored by receiving their very first siddur (prayerbook).

In honor of Yom Ha’atzmaut and Earth Day, our students had quite the adventure today!

From planting a sapling of the Survivor Tree after learning about Oklahoma history, to practicing Tikkun Olam by cleaning out Mizel’s garden bed in preparation for our next art exhibit and the beginning of our Infinity Garden, there was so much meaningful learning and hands-on fun happening all around campus.

We had a lot going on and kept very busy, while making the world a little brighter along the way!
