We equip parents, teachers, & tutors with tools to support struggling readers, like our online Academy with Science of Reading-based courses.

Dyslexia is more than letter reversals—it’s a learning difference that deserves empathy & effective instruction.

Be honest 👀

Would you rather:
📖 Read the book first
or
🎬 Watch the movie first?

No wrong answers here…although we might judge you a little if you skip the book entirely (just kidding)!

And for some people, audiobooks count too 🎧❤

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend.

It's a time to remember and honor those who gave everything in service to our country.

🇺🇸 We remember. We are grateful.

Dyslexia affects 1 in 5 people.

That's not rare. That's someone in our schools, workplaces, families, and communities.

The more we understand, the better we can support those who learn differently.

❤Let's make a Dyfference.

Sometimes the first (or biggest) breakthrough isn’t academic.

It’s emotional.

A child who feels safe enough to try again…
safe enough to make mistakes…
safe enough admit they don't have the answer…

Even as adults, when we're in fight or flight mode, we want to give up...but when we feel safe, we can keep going.

It's the same way with our children...that matters more than almost anything - feeling safe and wanting to keep trying.

We heard something on a podcast recently:

“The easiest life hack? Read.”

And for some people, it's that simple. But we know it's not always that simple.

If you have a child who struggles with reading, you know it, too.

Reading isn’t easy for everyone.
And “just read more” isn’t always helpful advice.

But here’s what is possible:

- Audiobooks
- Informational podcasts
- Content in formats that meet them where they are

Because learning, growing, and understanding the world doesn’t only happen one way.

If someone in your life is struggling with reading, there are answers—and support that can make a real difference.

Time
Time to figure it out.
Time to make mistakes.
Time to try again without feeling rushed or behind.Patience.

Time to figure it out.
Time to make mistakes.
Time to try again without feeling rushed or behind.

Because learning to read isn’t the same for every child.

Some pick it up quickly.
Others need more support, more repetition, and a different approach.

And that’s okay.

Every child also deserves:
- Instruction that's adjustable and meets them where they are
- Encouragement because it feels hard
- The chance to believe, “I can do this”

When we give kids what they NEED—not just what’s expected—everything starts to change.

What is dyslexia—really?

Dyslexia is a specific learning difficulty that primarily affects reading and writing.
But it doesn’t stop there.

It can also impact:
• Spelling
• Processing sounds in words
• Written expression
• Reading speed & fluency

And here’s what’s important to know:

Dyslexia has nothing to do with intelligence.
With the right support, individuals with dyslexia can learn to read, grow in confidence, and thrive.

To the moms and caregivers figuring this out as they go—we see you.

The ones sitting at the kitchen table saying, “let’s try it one more time.”
The ones rereading the same page…again.
The ones wondering if you’re doing enough.

You’re showing up anyway.

You’re asking questions.
You’re advocating.
You’re paying attention in a way no one else can.

And when your child is struggling with reading, that matters more than you probably realize.

You’re not just helping with schoolwork.
You’re helping them believe they’re capable.
You’re helping them not give up on themselves.

That’s not small. That’s everything.

So if today feels a little complicated, or a little heavy, or even a little unseen…

We see you.

Happy Mother’s Day Weekend to the moms and caregivers doing this important, often invisible work.

💬 If this is you—or someone you love—drop a ❤ or tag them so they feel it today.

Have you ever had a moment that took you all the way back to a classroom?

A friend shared this last week while traveling, and we couldn’t stop thinking about it:

“In one of my classes in 1999, we enthusiastically discovered the wonders of the Trevi Fountain.

Today, my almost 42-year-old self stands before this iconic landmark—and you can bet I tossed the coin.”

That’s the ripple effect of a teacher.

A lesson (a word, an expression) doesn’t just stay in a classroom.
It travels. It sticks. It shows up years later in the most unexpected, ways.

To every teacher and therapist who wonders if it’s making a difference… it is.

Sometimes you don’t see it right away.
But your impact is out there, quietly shaping lives.

💌 If you have a moment like this, share it.
Tell your teacher. Tag them. Or send it to us—we’d love to hear your story.

The smallest moments can last a lifetime.

Sometimes it’s something small.

A teacher who explains it one more way.
Who notices the frustration and leans in instead of moving on.
Who says, “Let’s try again,” and actually means it.

For a struggling reader, that moment can be everything.

It’s where confidence starts to grow.
Where effort feels worth it again.
Where a child begins to think, “Maybe I can do this.”

And that feeling doesn’t stay small—it grows.

That’s the ripple effect of a great teacher.

We’re collecting and sharing stories of teachers who made a Dyfference.
If someone comes to mind, send us a DM. With your permission, we’d love to share their impact.

What if 1 in 5 people you know sees words differently?

That’s how common dyslexia is.

1 in 5 people have dyslexia—yet so many go unidentified or unsupported.

If your child is struggling, if reading feels harder than it should, if you’ve been wondering…
You’re not alone. Not even close.

Awareness is the first step.
The right support is what changes everything.

-Different doesn’t mean less
- Early understanding matters
-And progress is possible
