Copying is a great way to visually follow instructions. It is also a great way to practice skills. Monkey 🙊 decided he wanted to practice his comic book creation skills by copying from “Cat Kid Comic Club Collabrations” Frogzilla by Dave Pilkey 🐼 .

A thankful note can sweeten the day and be a reminder that pursuing through challenges does not go unnoticed. I know that those helping kids who have experienced trauma face challenges. We are a zoo of beautiful yet still wild creatures. 😆 It is not easy or filled with persistent positive encouragement (at least on the receiving end). I am thankful for teachers who are teaching appreciation of family and helping kids express their gratitude. The gratitude is there they just have not learned to show it, look for it, or recognize it. It sometimes has to be taught and modeled. I hope you receive, see, and hear thankful notes that sweeten your day from your family and crew. 🐼 Panda

There are so many aspects to being a Mom. As I contemplated the decision to adopt family, I thought through many options of the roles I would play. Being a cup holder was not one of them. The good news is it also came with the opportunity to be with the Monkey at his first NBA game experience. Lambs Ears are a great addition to the garden as they are hardy plants. In addition, they are kid and sensory-friendly. Monkey 🙊was thrilled when he learned he could touch them without hurting them. he was also pleasantly surprised with how soft and furry they felt. Additional information: Lamb’s ears are also called wooly betony. The botanical name is. Stachys Byzantines. It is a herbaceous perennial. Which can be in full to partial to sun And prefers well-drained soil.

Science projects may leave me a little space trying to figure out how to find supplies to accomplish the goals, yet worth it. So fun to see the end result from the creativity and hands on learning.
