My Dérive Diaries

My Dérive Diaries I originally started my page as a way to follow me along my trip on the PCT but after that trip I was hooked! Now ALL I dream of is hiking and backpacking!

A Derive; An unplanned journey with the ultimate goal of encountering a new and authentic experience. Well that is basically how I live my life and what I am all about. I love adventure of any kind. But when your a mom that sometimes takes a back burner. LOL But NOT always! I was born in Arizona and spent my teens and college years in California and have lived in Washington and Europe. So as you see I am a bit of a Nomad. Who knows where I will end. Till then here are some pics of my hiking, backpacking, travels, and family. Enjoy!

It's official, all that lives in this house are stinky highschoolers. 😁😘 Taylor is now a freshman and Allie is showing her the ways as a junior. Also this year Allie is doing JTED for law enforcement and Jazmyn who is a senior this year but at her mom's is doing JTED for nursing. If you are unfamiliar JTED is a program through Pima Community College for high school kids that give them credits not just in high school but 6 college credits as well. It helps them get there foot in the door for the field they want to work right out of high-school. Super proud of these kids. Hoping for an amazing end and start to high school for them.
