Jorge’s first takeoff in over 4 years! 🛫

One of the pleasures that I have as a flight instructor is getting student pilots back in the cockpit. Some students think it’s hard to start again, but I believe they catch on quicker than they think (like a duck in the water haha).

Hello Aviators!

Not too long ago, I was a student pilot, nervous, making content, and chasing a dream that felt bigger than me.

Now, it’s an incredible honor to be on the other side of the cockpit, teaching and guiding others through the same journey that changed my life.

I’m excited to share that I’m officially taking students as an independent flight instructor in Tucson and Southern Arizona.

I made it my mission to become the best instructor I can possibly be like my mentors who taught me, and to create safe, confident aviators through the joy of flying.

So, if you’re thinking about learning to fly or you need someone to give you a flight review, I’d be honored to be part of your story.

Flying should be enjoyable.

However, flight training only works when expectations are clear.

Most people love the idea of flying — and they should. It’s exciting, rewarding, and almost always fun.

But, what makes it truly enjoyable though is:
• Flying consistently
• Seeing progress week to week
• Building real confidence in the airplane
• Finally earning your pilot certificate

That’s why I treat every first flight as more than just a ride. It’s a chance to see if flight training fits your goals, schedule, and budget because I want to see you succeed!

Been a while, but here’s an update - I’m a Certified Flight Instructor!

Between training, scheduling, and trying to get this done in a timely manner, this has been the most stressful certificate to get. Lots of hours put into studying, teaching, and talking. In the end though, it was definitely worth it. I learned a lot about myself, and I’m excited for this next chapter and what’s to come! Hit me up if you want lessons 👀

Last week I had the opportunity to volunteer at the FAPA (Future & Active Pilots Alliance) Pilot Job Fair with PAPA (Professional Asian Pilots Association)! It was fun connecting with everyone and the other organizations that were there. I made lots of new friends and learned so much. It was my first volunteer event with PAPA and I am looking forward to more! 🚀

Went on a side quest and got my Part 107 🛸

Shoutout to .hayn.808 for helping me out and for inspiring me to get it done ✅ If you’re a pilot, it’s actually really easy to get it done as most of the aviation knowledge needed is what you already know. It’s just a matter of learning new regulations, completing training on www.faasafety.gov (ALC-451: Part 107 Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems), and having a flight review within the past 24 calendar months 🗓️

I’m looking into getting into FPV drone cinematography on the side. If you’re in the northern Texas area and want to get some footage done, DM me 📥 I love learning and messing around with new projects.
