Serrato Corporation is proud to spotlight our Corporate Finance team!
Todd Weeks, our Chief Financial Officer, and Lisa Brooks, our Corporate Finance Manager, recently attended the USBank Summit โ a premier gathering for financial professionals.
The summit covered two incredibly relevant topics in today's world:
Fraud & Scams in the Digital Age โ understanding the latest threats and how to protect your organization in a fast-moving digital environment.
Borderless Banking from US Shores โ a deep dive into global geopolitics and how international dynamics are reshaping corporate banking strategies.
We're grateful for opportunities like these that keep our team sharp and our business ahead of the curve. Great work, Todd and Lisa!

Some words feel too small for what this day asks of us.
Memorial Day is about the men and women who put on a uniform and said, "I'll go." Who left families, futures, and familiar things behind. And who, for too many, never returned.
At Serrato Corporation, our work is rooted in one belief โ that everyone deserves a real chance at a better life. That chance exists because of the men and women who fought to protect it. Today we take a moment to be still, to remember, and to say thank you โ knowing that no thank you is ever quite enough.
To the fallen and the families who carry them: we honor you.

We just got back from Phoenix, AZ โ and we are ENERGIZED! โ๏ธ
Our amazing North Texas Job Corps team members Nikki Carter and Shane Loose had the privilege of attending the 2026 NAWDP Conference (May 18โ20), and what a three days it was! From engaging workshops to powerful networking, they came away with new tools, new connections, and a renewed sense of purpose in the work we do for our participants and community.
We believe that investing in our people is investing in the future โ and moments like this remind us why workforce development matters so much. ๐

Something special happened in Phoenix this week. ๐ต
For the first time, all three divisions of Serrato Corporation showed up under one roof.
Nikki Carter flew in representing our North Texas Job Corps team. Lourdes Heredia made the trip for Workforce Training Academy, and Damaris Casanova brought the energy of the iBuild America Podcast. Three different missions. Three different lanes. One shared purpose.
Together, they attended the 42nd Annual NAWDP Conference in Phoenix โ a gathering of some of the most dedicated workforce development professionals in the country.
Workforce development isn't glamorous. It's hard, people-first work. But when you've got people like Nikki, Lourdes, and Damaris in your corner โ representing your organization, building relationships, and carrying your mission into every conversation โ you realize you've got something worth being proud of.

Students and staff came together to participate in an MS Walk in honor of our student, Alicia Betts. Walking alongside her were Center Director William Houston, her counselor Ms. Armstead, her trade instructor Ms. Conerly and several of her peers who chose to spend their weekend showing up in support.
This is North Texas Job Corps. We show up for each other beyond the classroom and beyond the workday. Here, support doesnโt end when the week ends and no one walks through challenges alone.
We are proud to walk beside Alicia and grateful to be part of a community that truly stands together.

๐น A Meaningful Motherโs Day Celebration at Detroit Job Corps ๐น
This past Friday, the Detroit Job Corps Center came together to celebrate Motherโs Day with a heartfelt event that reminded us all of the importance of appreciation, community, and connection.
A special thank you to our Cafe staff for creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere through their thoughtful planning, wonderful food, and attention to every detail. From the beautiful setup to the meaningful moments shared throughout the day, it was clear how much care went into making the celebration special.
We also want to thank HR for the thoughtful roses that were handed outโa simple gesture that brought smiles, warmth, and a feeling of appreciation to so many.
At Job Corps, moments like these matter. Beyond career training, we strive to create a supportive environment where students and staff feel valued, connected, and encouraged. Celebrating important moments together helps strengthen the sense of family and community that makes Job Corps so impactful.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration memorable. Your kindness and dedication continue to make Detroit Job Corps a place where people feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

Earth Week at North Texas Job Corps was all about taking pride in the place we learn, work and grow together.
We kicked off the week with beautification projects across campus, with students and staff working side by side to spruce up our shared spaces and invest in our environment. Along the way, Sustainability Team pins were awarded to recognize those who went above and beyond in supporting the effort.
We wrapped up the week with a cookout filled with good food, laughter and community.
When we take care of our campus, we take care of each other. That is the Job Corps way.
