Medical Assisting | WTA – Chandler, AZ

Meet Carol — a retired Registered Medical Assistant with 25 years of experience who found her second calling in the classroom 💙

After a long and fulfilling career in the medical field, Carol now pours her heart into mentoring the next generation of medical assistants. And if you ask her what she loves most? It’s the relationships.

From celebrating students landing their first job to hearing about weddings, growing families, and fond classroom memories — those moments mean everything to her.

Her favorite place to teach? The lab. Especially blood draws! 🩸 That’s where hands-on confidence really takes shape.

Carol describes her teaching style as supportive, honest, and built on trust. She believes in her students — sometimes before they believe in themselves.

Fun fact: She’s also “a very silly person!” (We love an instructor who keeps things fun 😊)

Her favorite reminder:
“It ain’t about how hard you hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.”

Our Heavy Equipment class recently took training out into the field, giving students real-world experience where it matters most. Under the guidance of our instructor Greg, students Joanna and Jheison put their skills to work—building confidence, learning proper techniques, and getting comfortable operating heavy equipment in a live training environment.
