Regional College Access Center

Arizona’s first — and Pima County’s only — free community-based college access center. The RCAC provides services, such as, advice on preparing for and paying for college in both English and Spanish.

Congratulations to Yakeleen Almazan (Class of 2021) for being selected as a Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Regional Finalist. She was chosen as one of 251 students out of more than 99,000 applicants for this finalist status. She will be completing an interview for a chance to receive $20,000 and recognized for outstanding communal leadership.

Additionally, she has also been recognized as a national award recipient for the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans Scholarship. She was chosen as one of 106 recipients from 340,000 applicants to receive a $25,000 scholarship and an all paid trip to Washington D.C. in 2022. She was recognized for her determination and grit throughout high school. We are so proud of you! #CollegeReady
