A wonderful piece of SpoonTree history...

This footage captures the very first iteration of The Shneedles, with Wolfe Bowart and Bill Robison bringing down the house at the Hawaii Jugglers’ Festival in 1996.

This rowdy physical comedy act became the seed of an extraordinary career. From touring Germany’s varieté circuit with The Shneedles, Wolfe went on to create the acclaimed solo productions LaLaLuna, Letter’s End and The Man the Sea Saw, delighting audiences of all ages in 25 countries around the world.

Today, together with Xochitl Martinez, he continues to create original visual theatre through The WoBo Show, crafting new stories with impeccable comic timing, inventive physicality and boundless joy!

Every journey begins somewhere. This was one unforgettable beginning. Huge thanks to Alan Plotkin for preserving and sharing this footage - a little piece of theatre history.
