Young at Heart Together, Inc.

The Young at Heart Playgroup started in 2018, with a group of moms and their children who would meet at Life Care Center Nursing Home of Tucson.

We are a 501c3 who brings together children, their caregivers, and older adults (grandfriends) for shared play and activities, fostering meaningful connections, reducing isolation, and promoting mutual learning, respect, and community bonds. Family At Home Activity!!! Our space themed month has inspired some questions for grandparents and/or grandfriends regarding their memories of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969. This can be tied in with discussing last month's Artimis ll's mission.

We used the question sheet at a restaurant with grandma and it was so neat to see our 20 year old family member intrigued by the answers her 80 grandmother was sharing which sparked conversation.
