Paid Study on Engineering Curriculum Design:
Researchers at Georgia Tech’s Center for Integrating Engineering, Math, and Computing (CEISMC) and the School of Interactive Computing would love your help in understand teaching practices in high school engineering! As a part of our research, we are recruiting participants for an interview and design session. In this study, you will be asked about some of your existing curriculum and how it relates to your teaching practices and goals in teaching students engineering.
Time and place: The research study will take up to 130 minutes total, including a brief pre-interview online survey and a 120-minute in-person semi-structured interview. The interview will take place on Georgia Tech’s campus (free parking included). You will be compensated $200 for completing the study.*
Eligibility: You must be a high school teacher who has taught at least one academic year of engineering using design challenges to participate in a research study on reflective practices. You must be able to come in-person to a study at Georgia Tech (anyone in an EU country or in China cannot participate).
