I see a lot of coaching focused on healing a broken heart after a toxic relationship. The truth is it’s deeper than that.

Toxic relationships are traumatic. They are painful. Toxic relationships can be soul crushing. Devastating.

The impact the relationship has had on your physical and mental health is just as important.

Imma say something that you might not want to hear. You have to forgive! I know you may not want to forgive but it is necessary for your healing process. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I know he lied. I know he cheated. I know he broke your heart. I know he made promises that he had no intention of keeping. I know the pain you experienced or currently are experiencing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Some will tell you that you have a right to be unforgiving. And I disagree. Forgiveness is a requirement for healing and having the relationship that you need. You will not experience the love you desire without forgiving the one who hurt you. Unforgiveness is toxic and leads to bitterness. It will contaminate your chances at true love and intimacy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When you shoot your shot there are some vital things you miss versus when he approaches you. The first one being if he's a go-getter. When he purses you, it shows that he has the ability to go after what he wants in life.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
