Happy Hispanic Heritage Month from Kumon of Trumbull!

From September 15 through October 15, we celebrate the rich cultures, histories, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.

At Kumon, we believe education opens doors and empowers every student to build a brighter future. Through our Math, Reading, and English as a Foreign Language programs, students develop strong academic skills, confidence, and independence, one step at a time.

We are proud to support the many Hispanic families in our community and to provide a welcoming place where children, teens, and adults can continue learning and growing.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrate the power of culture, family, education, and opportunity.

¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana!

From all of us at Kumon of Trumbull.

🌟 In this video series, I had a chance to sit down with A***n and ask him about his Kumon journey, the challenges, the milestones, what kept him going, and what it feels like to finally become a Dual Program Completer.

A***n, watching you grow from that little 5-year-old beginning his Kumon journey to a young man completing high-school-level Reading and Calculus before even starting 8th grade has been incredibly rewarding.

Congratulations, A***n! 🎉🏆

You didn't just complete two Kumon programs. You demonstrated what persistent effort over time can accomplish.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate A***n, a Kumon Dual Program Completer! 🎓👏

A***n completed the Kumon Reading Program in 2025 while he was in 6th grade, and in August 2026, just as he was entering 8th grade, he completed the entire Kumon Math Program, through Calculus!📚➕➗📈

A***n started Kumon when he was just 5 years old. His journey wasn't built on a few weeks or months of hard work. It was years of showing up, working through challenges, making corrections, pushing through difficult levels, and continuing even when the work wasn't easy.

That is what makes this achievement so special.

💙 From Kumon Students to an Essential Part of Our Team

As another group of our amazing students heads off to college, we are filled with so much pride—and a little bit of emotion! 🎓❤️ Congratulations Jyo & Seb!!

Over the years, these students have grown not only academically, but also into confident, responsible young adults. Many of them have come full circle, returning to Kumon as Instructional Assistants and mentors, becoming an integral part of our center and helping inspire the next generation of students.

They have supported younger learners, encouraged students through challenging work, and brought their own unique energy, kindness, and leadership to our Kumon family.

Watching them take their next steps toward college is incredibly rewarding. We will miss their smiles, their dedication, and the special role they have played in our center—but we know they are ready for the exciting journey ahead.

Once a Kumon student, always a part of our Kumon family. 💙📚

Congratulations and best wishes to all of our college-bound students!

Go confidently, dream big, and never stop learning! 🎓✨

Every year I leave the Kumon KNA Instructor Conference with a full heart, and Calgary 2026 was no exception. ❤️

As I begin my 17th year as a Kumon Instructor, I'm amazed that I still feel like I'm just getting started. There is always more to learn, more to refine, and more ways to better serve every student and family who walks through our doors.

Taking home countless nuggets of wisdom, fresh ideas, renewed inspiration, and unforgettable moments from fellow instructors' journeys. The presentations, breakout sessions, meaningful discussions, and shared experiences reminded me why I chose this path.

Grateful for the opportunity to learn from such an incredible community of educators. Here's to continuing to grow, inspire, and help every child reach their fullest potential.

The #1 thing you can do right now to get your kindergartener ready for school? It's not what you think. 👀

It's not flashcards or early reading — it's building a consistent *learning routine.*

When children have a simple, dedicated time to sit down, focus, and complete a task, they walk into kindergarten already feeling like a learner. And that confidence carries them further than any worksheet ever could. 💛

At Kumon, we specialize in helping early learners build the skills AND the habits that support long-term success, starting before kindergarten even begins.

📌 Is your child starting kindergarten this fall? There's no better time to start than right now.

To every Kumon mom out there, Happy Mother's Day! 🧸🌸❤️

You are the ones who show up. 🙌

You pack the homework packets. You remind them (again 😄). You sit beside them on the hard days when the worksheet feels impossible. You celebrate every little win like it's the biggest thing in the world, because to them, it IS. 🌟

You drive to the center on without fail. 🚗💨 You ask your child how their session went. You cheer them on from the sidelines and push them forward with so much love it's impossible to measure. ❤️ Behind every child who shows up, works hard, and grows, there is a mom who believes in them first. 🙏

At Kumon of Trumbull, we see you. We appreciate you more than words can say. Thank you for trusting us with your most precious gift. It is an honor we do not take lightly. 📚✨

Wishing you a day filled with rest, joy, and all the love you so generously give every single day. 🌸

Happy Mother's Day from our Kumon family to yours. 🥰💛
