You helped us achieve our rookie story, a testimony that together we can all achieve so much and learn from each other. We met so many of you and most of you became friends and families. Congratulations to The Regenesis Project 31799, an all-girls rookie FIRST Tech Challenge team made that includes Troy students, for making history at the 2026 Chicago Robotics Invitational! Competing against teams from around the world, these talented young innovators earned a Winning Alliance Banner and two prestigious awards, showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills!

An appreciation post to I.C.E. Robotics Mentors:

Our rookie team members were heartbroken and defeated after our playoffs match until you came along and talked to us:

“It’s definitely okay to have a bad match. We have bad matches, too, sometimes. But that doesn’t make you a bad team.”

You also told us there was a reason that we were chosen to be part of Alliance 1 and that we had the best OPR for spectrum, which definitely made our day.

We might be middle schoolers but we played our hearts out against the best high school teams in the world, scoring consistently well throughout qualifications and ranking 10/38 overall. We were disappointed at not having been selected earlier, but there was a higher plan in store for us.

THANK YOU for empowering us, lifting our spirits, and making us feel seen. Your compassion means the world to us. You are what makes 11329 I.C.E. Robotics a WORLD-CLASS team.

With YOU and others like you, mentoring the youth, we are very hopeful about the future.

To God be the glory (TGBTG)!

Decode 2025-2026 is our rookie season. God had been so good and faithful to use four girls and a modified starter robot so He can reveal what He can do, all for His glory. He granted our all-girls community team with 12-13 years old team members (6th-7th Graders) with the opportunity to participate as far as Chicago Robotics Invitational where we got our very first Winning Alliance Banner. We are so grateful beyond words can say to I.C.E. Robotics 11329 I.C.E. Robotics from Bloomington, IN for allowing us to be part of Alliance 1 together with Meta^Infinity 18221 Meta^Infinity 18221 from Highland, IL and Hippobotamus 22482 from Mechanicville, NY. What an honor to play alongside with all of you and for the chance to participate for Playoff Match 7. We learned so much from this experience and we will be forever grateful for the opportunity you graciously shared and your encouragements to our team when we were on our lowest moment. Congratulations to all and maybe one day, God willing, we will meet and play again together.

Our team ranked 10th out of 38 amazing teams from 7 countries. It was amazing to meet all of you at Chicago. What an amazing opportunity for us to learn from all of you. There were so many people and FTC teams that helped us to get to 2026 CRI Premier Event.

Coach Nate and Coach James of Shelby Robotics, thank you for teaching our team how to create a strong Team Portfolio, help us modify our starter robot design and improve the programming of our robot. We couldn’t make it to Michigan State Championship SE and to CRI without your expertise, support and guidance. Near or far, you were there every step of the way.

Coach Bigelow and Team 14706: Armada Pi-Gears, thank you for the Gear Up Grant, 4 laptops, 3D printer, other robot parts and words of encouragement prior and after our CRI competition. Thank you for believing in us and celebrating our accomplishment.

Coach Sandy of Robo Next Gen, thank you for lending your field elements and field to us so we can have a full field set up for CRI game modifications. It helped us tremendously in our attempt to program our autonomous and strengthen our spectrum shooting skills.

To our ever generous sponsors and community supporters who bought our axolotl keychains and answered to God’s prompting to help our team, thank you so much. We were able to raise more than $8,500 in our rookie season and funded all our tournaments and basic robot parts. Thank you for investing in us even if we haven’t proven anything yet. We hope we made all of you proud.

To our first ever robot “Resilience”, you made it! You helped us make our dreams come true. You helped shape the women we are today. Thank you for teaching us resilience, patience and overcoming every challenges that came our way. Together, we had achieved so much beyond we could ever imagine in our rookie season together.

As we hope to participate in BioBuzz Season, we carry with us all the learnings and experiences in our rookie year. This humbled us that without God, we are nothing. Without the help of FIRST community, our coaches, mentors, families, schools and community, we won’t make it anywhere. Thank you and we hope to continue to learn, innovate and regenerate ideas every season, one project at a time, all for God’s glory. Thank you Decode Season for all the memories! TGBTG!🙏🏼

To all girls and aspiring rookie teams who wanted to be involved in STEM and FIRST Robotics, you can do it! You can do anything you put your heart and mind into!

Every trophy/medal has its unique story and testimony of God’s goodness and grace. It was all God’s orchestration. We are so proud of what we have accomplished in our Rookie Year and God sent so many of you to support us, encourage us, and pray for us. To God be the glory!🙏🏼

Yesterday at Midland Spring, we ranked 17/33 Teams. We won Judges Choice Award and went to Playoffs with Vicious Volts 7252. Thank you for being gracious to our team, Shelby Robotics.
