We would like to thank Nathan McCall and Capital Tractor for allowing the kids learning to Mig weld over the Summer mini term to get out of the booth and apply their skills to build a custom BBQ grill! It was a great learning experience for the welders! Knowledge is power! #

New welders got to handle the fire today with oxy/fuel training. They are learning step by step set up, use and rig down for safe storage. Turning, burning and learning! Knowledge is power!

We had a great day in the shop yesterday! Returning students were mentoring the new students on how to run stringer beads! We are looking forward to a safe, fun and learning school year! Knowledge is power!

TPCT Welding ladies have the sign cut for the grill we are building for Capital Tractor! They'll design, cut out, assemble and weld out the grill using the GMAW (Mig) process they have been learning in the booth. Nothing better than the application of their knowledge in real world fabrication! Knowledge is power! #

TPCT Welding got some real world experience on an aluminum trailer today! They learned how to move damaged aluminum in to place, how to do "hot tacks" and did both aluminum Mig and Tig welding. They struggled some on the dirty metal but learned a lot!! They all worked together and took turns at different posts during the job. We still have a few repairs to finish but the experience they gained today will last a lifetime! Knowledge is power! #

What an amazing day! We had 13 TPCT welders walk and received their certificates in welding! I am very proud of each one of them and looking forward to seeing where they go in life!
