Da Rulz:
Eclectic Learning Institute’s Rules of Conduct :
1. Learning is for everyone; we treat everyone with respect. Get to know each other, listen to one another, and make new friends.
2. We respect and care for one another’s person’s, properties, and fandom and don’t criticize each other’s interests. It's alright to dislike something, however, do not insult, simply say you dislike it.
3. Only appropriate genres of art and history are shared with each other. We honor each other’s parent’s boundaries concerning what our friends are allowed to read/watch/learn.
5. Being good stewards of our surroundings and borrowed facilities is a priority for our group, putting chairs away and throwing out trash after every meetings. This means no screaming, no running after being asked to sit, etc, etc. It really just means behave and be respectful.
6. If you have suggestions, make your thoughts known! We want to know what you think and want to make your club experience the best it can be.
*** If you want to remain anonymous, there is a “Bokkusu” or box to place ideas inside every meeting.
7. When disagreements and offenses happen (and they will), Please DO NOT allow it to spread throughout the group. Both parties will settle their differences privately without involving other members; there will be NO taking sides or gossiping allowed among members. We are here for our mutual love of art/history, remember that; if mediating is necessary the parties can consult their parents for help.
8. If you need to anonymously bring attention to us another member acting unbecoming, talking/acting inappropriate, or any type of harassment,
please place inside of the box marked ATTN
(only teachers are allowed to read these notes and will be taken seriously).
9. The institute will temporarily or permanently expel members who do not follow rules, or cause continuous strife within the group; parents will be notified and informed of offenses and given options on how to proceed with continuation or termination of the programs. (Warnings will be given before ex*****on)
10. Work hard together to foster a warm and inviting group; you are ambassadors not only for families but for Eclectic Learning Institute. Do invite other art/history lover friends to join us and most important have fun.
