Our Accounting Society members enjoyed meeting with Paul Perry at Warren Averett CPAs! We focused on the emerging technologies in the accounting world, and is always a fascinating speaker!

Our next Accounting Society/Beta Alpha Psi meeting is on Tuesday, February 20th, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in Lewis Hall 129.

Our guest speaker is a Troy graduate, Mr. Paul Perry, FHFMA, CISM, CITP, CPA, CDPSE. Mr. Perry is a Member of and the practice leader of the Risk Advisory & Assurance Services Group at Warren Averett, LLC. He is also the leader of the firm’s Data Analysis Group and brings a wealth of knowledge on topics such as cybersecurity, data analysis, internal controls, and information technology.

Hey!! I am Jessie Hall and I am so excited to serve as Secretary/Treasurer for the Accounting Society this year! I am currently a Junior and will graduate in May of 2025. I plan on taking the CPA exam while taking my Master’s at Troy! I can’t wait for this upcoming year!

Join us February 12th 2024 3:00pm - 4:30 for our Spring Meet the Firms! We will be on the 4th floor of the Trojan Tower! Come and get to know some recruiters! We look forward to seeing everyone!

All students who are interested in pursuing summer leadership opportunities for Summer 2024 and internships for Spring 2025 are strongly encouraged to attend the I want an Internship! seminar on Wednesday, February 7, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
