This month Northwest ISD is celebrating the leaders who make a difference in our schools every day! 🎉 Throughout National Principal Month, we’ll recognize our incredible principals and the impact they have on students and staff.

🚧🎧 HOCO IS ALMOST HERE! PLAN AHEAD & PACK YOUR PATIENCE! 🐾💙

The Byron Nelson High School Homecoming Parade is rolling through Trophy Club THIS WEDNESDAY, October 21! We're excited to celebrate this favorite community tradition, but with ongoing road construction in the area, we're asking everyone to plan ahead and bring a little extra patience along for the ride!

🚦 EXPECT TRAFFIC DELAYS: Temporary road closures and increased traffic are anticipated along Bobcat Boulevard, Trophy Club Drive, Park View Drive and Durango Drive before, during and after the parade.

🚧 CONSTRUCTION COMPLICATIONS: Ongoing construction at the Bobcat Boulevard/Marshall Creek Drive roundabout, along with existing detours and traffic pattern changes, may create additional congestion throughout the area. Please be prepared for longer travel times than usual.

🗺️ IMPORTANT PARADE & TRAFFIC DETAILS:

- The parade will start and finish at BNHS Driveway #4, located across from the Montessori entrance to the high school.
- The Homecoming Parade will follow the same direction of the Parade of Patriots held in July, so please review the route before heading out!
- Two-way traffic will begin at the Trophy Lake roundabout and extend to Galloway. On the north side of BNHS, two-way traffic will extend to BNHS Driveway #3.
- All parade participants and spectators should be at their designated locations by 5:45 PM, when the parade route will close to traffic.

🚗 A LITTLE PATIENCE GOES A LONG WAY! Whether you're heading to the parade, picking up the kids or just trying to get home, please allow extra time, consider alternate routes and follow all posted signs and traffic directions. A little planning and courtesy on the roads will help keep everyone safe!
