🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE — GAME TIME CHANGES 🚨
🥵 The forecast for this weekend’s games looks HOT!
The predicted heat index is 100°+, which means temperatures on the turf could reach approximately 104–110°.
For the safety of our players, coaches, officials, and families, we are required to follow heat-related guidelines established by the GCYFL, OHSAA, and NFHS. Depending on conditions, there is a possibility that games may need to be delayed or canceled.
⏰ In an effort to be proactive and take advantage of the cooler morning temperatures, ALL GAMES WILL START ONE HOUR EARLIER.
UPDATED GAME TIMES:
🏈 K1 — 9:00 AM
🏈 2nd Grade — 10:20 AM
🏈 3rd Grade — 11:40 AM
🏈 4th Grade — 1:00 PM
🏈 5th Grade — 2:20 PM
🏈 6th Grade — 3:40 PM
🌡️ Temperatures and field conditions will be monitored closely throughout the day. If conditions require a delay or cancellation, we will communicate that information as quickly as possible.
We truly hope we are able to play all of our games as scheduled, but the safety of our kids will always come first. Unfortunately, the weather is outside of our control, and we appreciate everyone’s patience, flexibility, and understanding.
