Take action! New Jersey is facing a healthcare crisis that's hurting all of us. Unless we act now, it’s going to get worse. We have a long history of achieving win-win solutions on healthcare that control overall costs without making members pay more or get less. We're ready to do that again, but need the governor and Legislature to come to the table with us to implement those smart solutions together. Contact your elected leaders now and ask them to help us fix our healthcare crisis using the link in the first comment ⬇️

On Saturday, June 6th at the Carol Watchler Conference, NJEA Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) Committee honored PDII's own Richard Wilson and retired Communications staffer Patrick Rumaker for their significant role in the establishment of the Committee.

In a featured panel, Rich shared a history of how, as outsiders, the LGBT caucus became a committee within the NJEA structure and helped grow the organization to become more inclusive.

Thank you, Rich, for being a trailblazer for LGBTQIA+ inclusion and representation within and beyond the association! 👏🏾
