Veterans continue serving long after they leave the military. The Assembly recently voted in favor of A2746, sponsored by Assemblywomen Andrea Katz, Carol Murphy, and Tennille R. McCoy, to allow eligible educational support professionals to receive up to four years of seniority credit for their military service, bringing them in line with the benefit already available to teaching staff.
