Former Titans competing in college meets this weekend as Abby Veit ran here first 6k race for Hope and Aidan Simrau (Davenport) and Sam King (Kalamazoo) were racing in an 8K at Calvin College

Outstanding day at Ottawa Hills Inv. on Friday with the boys winning and the girls finishing 6th. Boys had 10 runners under 17 minutes with Liam, Finn, Austin T. and Emmett all under 16:00. Girls were 6th, led by Tessa Mascari and 21 girls had either personal bests or season bests.

Boys and girls competed in the Titan Takeoff yesterday with the boys taking the top nine places to finish first and the girls finishing in second place to Lake City. Liam Wierzba was first for the boys and Bridget Raven was third for the girls. The Titan girls next five runners finished within 10 seconds on each other.

Boys and girls had great start to their cross country seasons today. Boys were first in both the Varsity and reserve races and the girls were 4th in both. Not including freshmen there were 11 personal best and 16 of the 18 athletes that ran at Benzie last year improve on their times for the boys and all 11 of the girls that ran last year improved on their times. Liam Wierzba, Finn Frost-Grayson, Emmett Duggar and Austin Taft all finished in top 10. Tessa Mascari and Bridget Raven both finished in top 10 for girls.

Monday and Tuesday is pickleball fundraiser at the dog park. Men's and women's doubles on Monday and mixed on Tuesday. We are also collecting can. You can bring them to the dog park and kids will take care of them. Athletes need to be at courts by Dog Park (at corner of Bay Street and Wayne Street) before 8:00. You should be done by 11:30 or sooner. If you drive do not park by courts, park down near Darrow.
