“ I have officially graduated from SOMA and got my Massage Therapist license in the state of Michigan in May. My next step is working at a new spa opening in downtown Traverse City called Lügn! I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to work alongside other talented people who are passionate about intentional and attuned treatments. My time at SOMA brought me so much passion around this career and set me up for success as a professional in the field! I am looking forward to emerging into the Northern Michigan BodyWorker scene as a graduate from this school! It carries an amazing reputation; I have already felt that, and hope to increase it with my own story. I felt unbelievably supported and prepared when leaving the program. These people and space have changed my life! I showed up as an eager student, hoping to learn as much as I possibly could, and I left confident in my knowledge and capabilities as a Massage Therapist.”

We’re offering a complimentary “Student for a Day” class where you’ll:
• Watch live demos
• Get your hands on bodies (guided, of course)
• Experience the structure and flow of our program
• Meet instructors and ask any questions you may have

The sweetest ceremony for our first three graduates. A square on the wall for every body they touched while in our program. We are grateful, we are humbled, we are SO PROUD. 🥹

Our morning students finished finals on Friday and are now preparing for their state licensing exams. This group has been truly special to witness. The care, dedication, and heart they’ve brought into this work is something we won’t forget.

To our first three graduates, thank you for trusting us and for showing up so fully to this process. We are so proud of you and so excited to watch you continue to grow and carry this work forward, push professional standards, and find your own feet within this field.
