Our evening cohort has officially graduated!! ✨

These students have grown into such incredible therapists over the last year, and we’re so excited to see where they take it next and how they continue to show up in this community. 🤍 We were so lucky to have Anna and Kaitlyn leading this class, and we’re so grateful for all the love and care they poured into this group.

And a big thank you to our kids, aka the ultimate setup + breakdown dream team. 🤍🙏🏻

We’re so excited to welcome Amanda Bowen to the SŌMA teaching team!

Amanda has been a massage therapist for 16 years, working in both clinical and private practice settings. She is certified in neuromuscular therapy, myofascial therapy, massage cupping, and prenatal and postpartum massage.

Education has played a large roll in Amandas life thus far. From tutoring classmates during massage school to homeschooling her daughter and teaching in a local co-op, she has always loved helping others learn!

Her approach to teaching goes beyond the material. She cares about helping students grow into thoughtful, skilled therapists who are genuinely invested in their work and the people they serve.

Amanda is excited to share her love of anatomy, physiology, and healing with the next generation of skilled bodyworkers, and we are so happy to have her at SŌMA! ✨

Chair massage day with our Weekend Program!

We love teaching chair massage because it gives our students another practical way to bring bodywork into the community. It’s more affordable, accessible, can be done almost anywhere, and is often an easy introduction to massage for someone who may not be ready for a traditional table session.

It’s another great tool for our students to have as they head out into the field of Massage Therapy!

Join Andrew Goforth for our monthly Craniosacral Therapy Study Sessions, a space to practice techniques, refine your listening skills, get hands-on feedback, and connect with others doing this work. Each month will focus on different techniques and skills, so every session will be a little different.
