Finally, the season is underway! Baseball umpires Ed Blough and Anthony Irvine, along with softball umpires Al Hebden and Chuck Bott on the field this past week.

Congratulations to NSOA official Scott Jones on his boys semi-final this past week. Well done and well deserved!

Hoping to be 'Hardly Noticed,' 50-Year Official Allen Certainly Recognizable, Respected | Michigan High School Athletic Association Bill Allen’s story is similar to that of many area sports officials, particularly those officials who have been active for many years.

The season is fast approaching! NSOA, Top-O, and CAOA officials met today for their annual pre-season basketball clinic incorporating classroom and on-court training.

Good luck to everyone wearing stripes tonight! During this game between Brethren and Suttons Bay high schools in Michigan earlier in the season, four out of five officials were veterans. From left are U.S. Coast Guard veteran Clifford DuPuy, U.S. Air Force reservist Jordan LaPoint, U.S. Army veteran, Donald Torres, U.S. Marine veteran Gabe Wise, and Sean Sutcliffe.

Congratulations to NSOA Official Tom Post and CAOA Official Bill Allen for their induction into the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan Hall of Honor.

A well deserved award to both Tom and Bill recognizing their many years of accomplishments and service.
