Relaxing before Memorial Day Weekend, but remembering this time of year when my kids were school-aged. I dreaded the end of the school year; no more time to myself, all of that unstructured time together, and a perceived pressure to create a great summer for the kids, but realizing in the end that it would all work out. I had a lot of support from friends and family. I want to support parents and guide children to make the most of the summer, with ease! Don’t lose those skills kids! Parents and families, don’t lose your minds!

I’m hosting an event on Monday for fourth and fifth graders at the Towson library from 4-5:30 p.m. Alex Wood will be there teaching mathematical reasoning by focusing on the language of math and the power of working each step effectively in multi-step word problems.
