Happy Birthday to my baby girl (one day late) ❀️

Absolutely crazy to think back to the time I adopted Sammie from the Morristown humane society. My step mom (Vicki) took me to go β€œlook” and we fell in love. I was 19, in between my first and second year of college. She has been the best dog. Easy to train, smart, obedient, sweet, quiet, chill, not cuddly though. You have to beg her for kisses but she gives them out occasionally, couples times a month 🀣. Grateful for every day with her. ❀️

Happy Tuesday 2/22/22 ✨

Just a reminder that mobility and flexibility should be a priority to everyone for joint and muscle health and to prevent injury.

Most of remember to stretch our hamstrings but really you should have a routine or practice that hits all the deep muscles that could be hindering your movements for example psoas, inner hips, glutes, IT bands, chest, spine the entire nets that stretch so many different ways throughout the body.

I recommend Yoga by Kassandra on YouTube or Alo Moves (paid subscription) I am currently doing the pure flexibility series with Ashley Gavin in Alo Moves it’s about 30 min a day 4x a week focusing on hamstrings, quads & psoas, spine & back body, inner hips, side body & twist.

I am amazed at the progress I’ve made in my flexibility in the last month because we do similar poses each week you can really gauge your progress which is super cool! 😎

Current strategy ➑️ carb cycling ​​​​​​​​

I am eating around maintenance on leg days, slightly under on upper days and a 500 calorie deficit on days I don’t work out. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Just dropping the carbs a bit on rest days. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
My metabolism is still recovering from my prep and is pretty slow. I am not trying to drop body fat currently just giving my hormones and metabolism time to recover and focusing on maintaining my weight. ​​​​​​​​

I am happy to have put on some size in such a short time this photo is 4 weeks apart πŸ‘β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹
