Landon families- be in the look out for picture day information coming home next week. Picture day is Monday, August 24th. Orders can be placed online or paper form.

If your student is in need of a sports physical, Highland Park High School is offering them today 3-7pm and tomorrow (Aug 14) from 2-6pm. Cost is $20

Thank you to our partners at Fairlawn Nazarene Church for all the goodies this week for staff and students!

Families- as you are planning your pick up routine from school each day, consider the option of parking in the skating rink or church (across the street) and wait for your student there. We have an agreement with both locations allowing for this to happen. This will save you a lot of time and frustrations of waiting in the car line. This option is used by several families each day.

Additionally, please do not drop off or pick up your student in the medical building parking lot next door (to the south of Landon). This parking lot is only for patients of the clinic.

6th grade parents- we ask that you pull up and drop your student off the first day and allow them to walk into the building on their own. We will have all hands on deck assuring they make it where they need to be!

Lastly- make sure you communicate with your student each day if they are a car rider/walker or need to get on the bus-this is another big change in middle school! They are responsible for knowing what to do after school!

Welcome to the next chapter middle school parents!!

Student schedules are ready to be viewed in Synergy. As per the newsletter sent Friday, we do not honor schedule changes based on a teacher or to be with friends. Students need to refrain from emailing and requesting to be moved from a class because of these reasons.

Bus routes should also be ready to view this weekend.

We will see 6th grade Tuesday and everyone else on Wednesday!
