Washburn Freethinkers (WFT) is a student group that seeks to promote a positive awareness of nonreligious diversity at Washburn, to oppose discrimination wherever it is found, and to support and defend first amendment rights of free speech, freedom of religion and the principle of church-state separation. In addition, we seek to provide an open forum to students where all ideas can be voiced and discussed rationally in order to build a society of inclusion and understanding, dedicated to the pursuit of both equality and logic.
