You are cordially invited to the 2nd Annual Phoenix North American Championships. The tournament will be held on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 at Houston's First Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.

Registration Fee is for any or all events.
All level students, from White Belt to Black Belt can participate.
Competitors can compete in Patterns, Sparring, Power Breaking, and Specialty Breaking.
Team Events include Team Patterns and Team Sparring.

Register and pay by 9/20/2021 for the Early Bird Special of $50.

Registration is online and all fees are collected online only.

T-shirts will only be available to order online for those who register and order them on or before October 6th. If you wish to purchase a t-shirt, please make sure to register and pay for the t-shirt and tournament before October 6th.

Just a reminder that we will NOT be having class tomorrow, Sept 6th, in observance of Labor Day. Have a great day off with your families, and we'll see you in class on Wednesday, 6.30pm.

There is a taekwondo retreat opportunity coming up called "Weekend Warrior Wilderness Workshop" you might be interested in, scheduled for Sept 17-19, 2021. It's a bit "outside of the box", but sounds really interesting. Aspects include:
Camping
Physical Training
Run-in-the -Park
We**ie Roast
Wilderness/survival skills
Strengthening/conditioning
Martial Arts academy

....all within the backdrop of San Angelo State Park. Cost is $79 for individuals, or $199 for families. To attend Saturday only, cost is $75/individual or $185/families. Good News! The facility where we hold class, Tomball Sports Medical Center, is finally allowing us to resume classes, so we will be starting back up TONIGHT, at our usual class time of 6.30pm. We will resume our usual class schedule - Mondays and Wednesdays, 6.30-7.30pm. Hope to see you tonight!

Eagle Warriors. Social Distancing has been tough on us all, but I hope everyone is doing well. We have a training opportunity coming up in July - the annual Patterns Workshop. Typically it's in Austin, but this year it is being held at the Poteet Martial Arts studio in Midlothian. Mr. Moore is planning on going, and is hoping you will make plans on attending as well. The videos include every aspect of Taekwon-Do that you need to learn, and they are presented in a clear and easy format. The videos include:

We want to give you an update on our class schedule for this week and the immediate future. Due to the ever changing status of local, state and national policies, the Tomball Sports Medical Center, where we hold our classes, has decided to restrict it's activities to only rehab appointments, which means that we will NOT be able to hold classes there for a while.

I'll be sure to let everyone know as soon as this restriction is lifted and we are allowed to resume classes. Be sure to keep practicing at home though. Also, I had sent an email recently about a tournament opportunity coming up March 28th, the Phoenix Group North American Championships, that was to be held at the First Baptist Church Houston. That event has also been cancelled. They are hoping to reschedule for sometime in October, and we'll be sure to post the new date when we find out. If you had registered for the tournament and want to check about a refund, here is a link where you can find a phone number to call, or perhaps email them about it.

We have a date for the annual HITT tournament.
