As the ExCEL in Social Work grant comes to a close, I want to thank each of you again for your camaraderie and commitment to improving the delivery of quality psychosocial-spiritual care. We're excited to be presenting at the ExCEL in Social Work Program which has been taking place since yesterday morning and ends this evening in Philadelphia.

The aim of this program is educate oncology social workers about delivering psychosocial care to cancer patients in order to improve the care that they receive.

I have started to learn that confronting my fears and issues surrounding moving forward and dealing with cancer is much more positive for me then trying to push past it. It really is hard, and I always feel emotionally drained after each session.
