Plans after graduation: I will attend the University of Illinois Chicago to major in Cellular and Molecular Biology with a minor in Spanish.

Favorite StuCo Memory: My favorite memories from Student Council were attending retreats with my friends and being able to own a gavel with my name on it.

Why join Student Council? I joined Student Council to learn leadership skills and meet new people. I wanted to be more involved with the student body and help make an impact!

Plans after graduation: I plan on going to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, but I am undeclared so we shall see where the wind takes me. I would like to pursue a career in Criminal Justice.

Favorite StuCo Memory: My favorite StuCo memory is the Great Auction.

Why join Student Council? I joined Student Council so I could be more involved in not only our school, but also in our community. It is also a great way to create life-long bonds with some amazing people!

Always happy to help out our fellow schools! 😊

Field Day fun was in full swing at East this afternoon! Students had a blast rotating through a variety of game stations and enjoying time outside together with music and friends.

A big thank you to our high school volunteers for sharing their time and energy with us. It’s always great to have older students in the building serving as positive role models for our younger learners!

We wrapped up the day with a visit from Kona Ice to “cool off.” We may have been wishing for temperatures about 20 degrees warmer, but it didn’t slow us down—we still had a great time!

Plans after graduation: I plan to attend Illinois State University to study Medical Laboratory Science and earn my bachelor’s degree!

Favorite thing about StuCo: My favorite thing about Student Council is organizing and working all the activities we do for Homecoming Week. I love getting to see the gym come together with all our visions and decorations!

Why join Student Council? I joined Student Council to help out in my community and make a difference in people’s lives! I also joined so that I could participate and lead our school events!
