One of my favorite end-of-year activities with both my small reading groups and my elementary classroom groups was to host a themed SUMMER READING PARTY!

This ROCK, ROLL, AND READ themed set of materials is discounted to $1.00 through this week, and will help encourage your students to read over the summer. It includes a packet of tips for parents. student award certificates, bookmarks, and coloring pages.

Just add tie-dye or neon clothing, some groovy sunglasses or headbands, some favorite music, and a favorite read-aloud!
