“Queen of Reading” is a sentiment we share about Dolly. Dolly’s passionate dedication that reading should be encouraged for ALL children is a vision we strive towards at Toledo Tomorrow as well. From our early literacy program to recently helping local family’s sign up for the free book gifting program that Imagination library 📚 provides for children up to age 5. Dolly Parton, the "Queen of Country" could have also been called the "Queen of Reading" with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, a philanthropy she created to get books to kids. Since 1995, more than 300 million books have been distributed to babies and young children. More than 1.2 million sent right here in Lucas County, with 822,000 of those books distributed in partnership with the Library Legacy Foundation of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library. Her generosity and vision are reflected as powerfully in this work as in her unmatchable singing and songwriting. We will always love you.

Toledo Tomorrow has the privilege of having interns as part of our team. These individuals are an integral part in driving our mission to help area youth in pursuing College and Career access opportunities. Interns join us for at least two semesters while they’re still pursuing their Bachelor’s, Master’s or in Zack’s case PhD! It’s been great to have Zack help build our foundation & keep the engines running for over the past year. Zack, we will truly miss having you as part of our team! We can’t wait to call you Dr. Matthews! Oh and if you haven’t tried Sarnies, we highly recommend!
