We would like to take a moment to share our gratitude for a truly outstanding Senior. McKenzie Adams started her time here at the University of Toledo and quickly demonstrated her passion for Recreational Therapy. At the start of her Junior year, she decided to make it her mission to review the UT Recreational Therapy Club and for the past two years she has hosted bi-weekly meetings for her peers. She has offered time to connect, explore interventions, and networking opportunities with professionals. McKenzie has become an essential part of our program, and she will be missed as she moves on to bigger and better things. We want to congratulate McKenzie as we name her the Outstanding Recreational Therapy Student of the year. Columbus Recreation and Parks is very lucky to be getting such an amazing professional as an intern this year.

McKenzie Adams and Walter Lang are doing fieldwork at the Metroparks Toledo. Yesterday they helped facilitate a cold plunge! Dr Eichner was a recipient of their work and it was amazing!! So proud of our students.
