That change in the weather does more than make me get out sheets and coolers.

Time to fine tune some pieces and watch it all fall together one handed.

Bunny is more solid than any other futurity horse has been for me. But she doesnt know that and its my job to protect her from the pressure i may feel with the change in the weather and just replicate what we will need when we show.

Trust my mare and what we've done every day for the last two years together.

And if something doesn't work, learn from it and test everything again at the next show!

Now is the time to think about where your coming two year olds will go off to kindergarten!

I'm a one (wo)man operation. Your two year olds receive the same one on one time and attention as the show horses. My two year old program centers around one thing: willingly guided. This ensures the foundation is put on isn't fancy buttons for just me to look good, but horses that FEEL good to ride. That no matter what the rest of their life throws at them, that they problem solve and think instead of react because they've been MADE to do something.

I know from years of riding in different top programs that balancing confidence and respect, is the key to a simple to ride show horse. Horses any non pro, or another trainer from a completly different program- or even a different discipline can follow behind.

Whether you have a horse and a plan or want to find something that fits your dream, I would love to see how I can help!

The debut pattern for WhenThaStarsComeOut is put on the record!

First patterns are a fact finding mission. And a pre futurity with high pressure in a big arena is the perfect test to see what you have to do to customize each horse's pre show preparation and training to get the best ride possible!

A half point out of the money, and score cards from 5 judges, I can see not just that im close, but in what way i can get closer allowing me to focus my practice at home to prepare her for the big futurity!

We are draw 23 tomorrow in the Open Invitational Futurity! It starts at 8:00 am, so we should go a little after 10:00 am...
