Transportation is about more than getting students from point A to point Bβit's about helping school districts make the most of their resources so they can invest more where it matters most: the classroom.
As the Coordinating Transportation Services Agency (CTSA) for Monmouth and Ocean Counties, MOESC works with public school districts to coordinate Special Education, Vocational, and Nonpublic transportation in accordance with Chapter 53, P.L. 1997.
During the '25β'26 school year, MOESC's transportation jointure program helped participating districts save more than $13 million by:
π Combining compatible routes across districts
π Strategically tiering routes to maximize vehicle utilization
π€ Coordinating transportation regionally instead of district by district
These shared services help districts reduce transportation costs while continuing to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation for students. Every dollar saved is another dollar that can be invested in teaching & learning.
At MOESC, we're proud to partner with school districts to deliver practical solutions that make a real difference for students, schools, and communities.
