Little Choices, BIG Steps Toward School Readiness!
Allowing toddlers to make simple choices at lunchtime helps build independence and confidence.
Our Playgroup Littles are putting these skills into practice by packing their own to-go lunches! Choosing between two fruits, picking a favorite vegetable, and deciding what to pack gives little ones opportunities to express their preferences, make decisions, and develop independence.
These everyday moments help prepare children for the transition to school, where making choices, communicating needs, and managing routines are important school readiness skills!
