We love supporting our friends! We Run Adel

🎉 WE RUN ADEL ANNIVERSARY RUN! 🎉

Almost a year ago, We Run Adel started with a simple goal—to bring people together through movement. Now, we’re celebrating an incredible year of miles, friendships, and community… and we want YOU to be part of it!

🏃‍♀️🏃🏿‍♂️Whether you’re a runner, walker, jogger, or just want to come out and support, this event is for everyone!

Our goal isn’t to set personal records—it’s to pack the streets of Adel with people moving together. Let’s show what our community is all about and celebrate how far we’ve come!

Bring your family, invite your friends, and help us make this our biggest turnout yet. Every pace is welcome, every mile matters, and everyone belongs.

📍 Date: Saturday August 15, 2026
🕖 Time: 6:00 AM
📍 Location: The Train Depot, Adel

Let’s fill the streets with smiles, encouragement, and community spirit as we celebrate ONE YEAR of We Run Adel! 💙

Tag someone you’re bringing and let’s make this anniversary one to remember! 🎉

After two successful years with the ABAC Cross Country program, Alec will be leaving this summer to begin training with the United States Marines. Although we knew this was his plan from the start, saying goodbye is still incredibly difficult. Alec has served our team with dedication as a team captain, and most recently, as our assistant coach. This past season, he was honored with a place on the SSAC Champions of Character Team, a recognition that reflects his integrity, leadership, and commitment both on and off the course. We are deeply grateful for the impact he has made on our program and for the example he has set for every athlete who has come through our doors. As he begins his journey with the Marines, we are especially thankful for his courage, service, and willingness to sacrifice for something greater than himself. Thank you, Alec, for everything you’ve given to ABAC Cross Country! We are proud of you and wish you the best in the next chapter of your life!

We enjoyed being apart of such a meaningful event - Carry the Load. We Carry the Load for our service members, first responders, and the generous families that stand with them.
