My first go at being a mom I had a hard time sharing my toddler with anyone.

I’ll say it straight, I had trust issues.

As I worked though why I didn’t trust I discovered that at the root of it I did not trust myself.

I let myself down over and over again with promises I made, goals I had set, but never fully followed though with or dreams of ‘someday’ that I never took action on.

Today I know trust is an inside job and the work I’ve done to keep my word to myself has effected how I trust others.

What comes with that development is date nights with this dashing man as the kids stay with someone we trust.

The bonus are relationships our kids build with amazing people with my partner and I invest in our relationship.

In conclusion: Kids are blessings. Share them with those you trust and go spend time taking care of yourself.

I was living with so many doubts when I first became a mom.

Some of them I was aware of and others I had no idea about.

Yet, all of them were dictating my life.
Today, after guidance in developing myself I am living the life that all my previous doubts told me was impossible.

I REMEMBER…
…when I use to believe that I was too busy being a mom to go to yoga.
Fast forward to now when I believe I must go to yoga because I am a mom.
That self care 180 was so easy when I stopped believing the thoughts I had that were draining, defeating and down right sad.
In case you need to hear this; this is YOUR life and only you can live it.
You don’t need to wait for permission to enjoy it.
Look at your thoughts and any, I mean ANY, that cause you stress you are free to dissolve.
Freedom, joy and energy is what you are made of.
All the other stuff is extra that you picked up along the way.
