We had fun yesterday at the Preschool Fair held at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts in Thousand Oaks.
It was wonderful meeting new families and fellow Preschool Directors in the Conejo Valley. We are enrolling for our KOG Summer Camp & our Fall school year!
Our new Toddler class will be opening this Spring 2026 starting at 18 months.

This week KOG Preschool got a visit from the tooth fairy to teach us about how to brush and floss our teeth!

The children have been deeply engaged with our garden project! They've followed the journey of our beans from soil to snack plate, learning about planting, harvesting, preparing, and finally tasting their hard work. The attached photos capture this wonderful process.

One of our teachers was in the garden getting ready to plant a celery stalk when one of the children came over and asked what the teacher was doing. The teacher and the child started a conversation and the child asked when you plant the celery stock. What grows? The teacher said she wasn’t entirely sure, but they would watch it together and see what grew. And about a week later, something is definitely growing..

Here’s a sample of some recent “hot lunches”
1. Pasta with Alfredo sauce, oranges, fresh sautéed green beans and a piece of toast
2. English muffin Pizza, red delicious apples and blanched peas
3. Dino Chicken nuggets, oranges, tater tots and fresh celery
