Congratulations to everyone for completing the 2026 Tarver Trot last week! Our students ran an amazing 2.2 miles and together raised over $15,800 for our school. We saw determination, encouragement and so much school spirit from every runner out there.

A huge congratulations to 4th grader Becker Robinson-Jones for the fastest time of the day at 14:25! We are so proud of every student who showed up, kept going and crossed the finish line!

Last night was one for the books, literally!
23 elementary schools came together for Battle of the Books, and our Tarver team showed up ready. Throughout the year, these students read 5–10 books each and practiced recalling the tiniest details to answer tough questions as a team.

After a slow start and losing the first two rounds, they didn’t back down. They regrouped, refocused, and went on an incredible run, finishing by dominating and winning the lower bracket!

While only 6 students could compete last night, this was truly a team effort. All 15 of our 4th and 5th graders committed to the reading, the practice, and the process all year long.

We are so proud of this group. Their perseverance, teamwork, and love of reading paid off in a big way. What an accomplishment! Go tigers!
