This week we are learning about Ms. Alma Thomas, an expressionist, abstract artist from Columbus, Georgia. Ms Thomas was also a teacher for 35 years before becoming an artist. Her work was bright and unique.

This week students are creating snowflakes. While we may not see very much snow here in GA, we know snowflakes are all DIFFERENT! Our students are just a unique, different and special as each of our snowflakes. Check em' out!

After a wonderful holiday break...MES students are back in action! The creativity has begun!

*****Roll a snowman projects*****

Using the handout students were sent, they are to roll a dice to determine the body, face, arms, hat, and scarf of their snowman. After they complete the drawing, they are coloring to show creativity. Our snowmen are as different as each of our students!
